Vajra

A short ribbon for a friend. He has made a yurt/ger for his final project at school. He will have to hand in a report : a book with pictures of the process and more information on Central Asian customs and tradition. This ribbon will decorate the book.

The pattern in double weave is a buddhist Vajra or thunderbolt. It symbolizes enlightenment and the destruction of ignorance. Which seemed fitting to me for a graduation project
